more beach fun!

with jason getting home, and family in town we spend a bunch of time at the beach. the first time we went i kept paisley relatively clean, the second time i decided to let her play. here she is early on, just a little sand on the cheeks.

she loves playing with daddy.

we love auntie steph!! so fun seeing her:)

beautiful nora and paisley doing some more sand building/eating.

sandy feet and tush...so cute.

we are so sad/happy that steph and dj are in texas[sad for us, happy for them] it was great to see her. paisley still loving the sand.

this is what she looked like at the end of the day:

yikes! clean up was not near as fun as the playing in it was.

beach time

with jason getting home, and family in town, we've had a bunch of beach time the past little bit and it has been great. friday after jason got home, spencer, marleen and their girls along with steph, me and jason headed to la jolla shores. jason got some quality time with paisley and paisley got some quailty time with his sunglasses.

spencer and cute nora.

little miss aubrey. cute as a button.

i think it might be time to get pailsey another sun hat, seeing that the strap cuts of her little pudgy cheeks. oh how i love to kiss those little cheeks!

he's back!!!

on june 25th the much anticipated arrival of chris's younger brother, jason, finally happened. he served faithfully in the billings montana mission and we were all pumped to see him. to make a long story short, the airport screens were wrong, we thought he had landed and didn't and we ended up waiting about an hour and a half for him. two thumbs down for delta :( here we are at the beginning all excited and waiting.

still waiting, but moved to chairs and definitely lost some of our excitement.

we finally see him!! he looked so exhausted, like he had just ran a marathon or something. he also looked pretty happy to see his family.

the whole group, happy to have jason home and super happy to be leaving the airport and going to lunch!

a few hours later, and ready to surf. chris was glad that they waited until he was off work so they could hit the waves together. mike, a good friend of the family came with and then it was mexican food for dinner-yum!

the solution

the problem is that paisley and i get up anywhere between 7 and 8am. then we both have breakfast, i read, we play, and i do some cleaning. by the time we are done with our morning routine paisley is ready for her morning nap. great, she goes to sleep and i do other things. then when she wakes up, if i want to exercise, that is about the only time. so lets say we do go for a walk/jog, by the time we get back, it is past lunch and i am hungry-so i eat, usually paisley eats and we might have a few moments to play. then it is time for her afternoon nap. great, she sleep and i shower. then when she wakes up it is anywhere from 3-5 and chris will be home shortly so it is time to start thinking about dinner. so here is the problem, if i have errands, or shopping, when can i accomplish those on this day??? there is no time if i use my one awake time in between naps for exercise. thus, i don't exercise everyday because some days i have errands. so i have been wanting a treadmill, so that i can do something at home during paisley's morning nap and i can still have the rest of my day. so almost 2 weeks ago now, chris went and got me a treadmill-yah!

it was supa-dupa heavy! don't worry we wheeled one end on his long board.

chris spent several hours putting it together, yes it is huge and no we don't have the space for it.

so after all the work of going and getting it, getting it into our condo and putting it together we were both excited to try it out(me especially!) it starts going and i am walking....after a minute or so it slows down and then stops. huh, that is weird. chris did some reading, we checked some stuff, and it still continued to do that. we called the company, tried some things they said, still did it. so, they told us they would mail us 2 parts and then send a technician to fix it. like i said it has now been almost 2 weeks and i only have 1 part and a non-working treadmill. awesome.[not really] here is chris's sad/frustrated/disappointed face.

even paisley tried to help.

so, now my solution has become just another problem.

[great...again, not really]
