2 month stats

i forgot to say that paisley had her 2 month appointment this week- i can hardly believe that she is 9 weeks old! she is a healthy little one and everything went well (and yes i totally cried when she got her shot)
weight: 12 lbs 5 oz (90% yahoo for a good eating girl!)
height: 23 inches (75%)
head: 39 1/2 cm
also, last night was the first night with paisley out of the room(i hadn't finished typing the other post, so that is why i just barely posted it) and i got a 6 and 1/2 hour chunk of sleep-it was incredible! and then i got another hour and half on top of that-sweetness. that is a happy thanksgiving for me:)

the move

no chris and i did not find a house. but paisley is officially moved out of our bedroom, it happened at 3:45 am this morning. i had only slept 2 hours and i went to bed at 11:15pm-needless to say i was frustrated and chris got right up and moved the bassinet into the other room. i am happy but it is still hard, i can't just glance at her from the bed and know that she is ok. we are hoping that i can get more sleep now-keep ya posted on that one. in other news, my parents were in town this weekend for her blessing-which i will post about soon. here are some pics of paisley enjoying time with gma and gpa tucker. we loved having them visit and were very sad to see them go.

of course we showed our support for the cougs at the holy war this weekend, paisley was upset that max hall decided to have the worst game of his career, but at least we looked cute!

yes i got just a tid crafty with her onesie and headband. i must give credit to chris as well for helping with the headband. paisley is loving getting to know her aunt stephanie and uncle dj while they are in town as well. they brought her a gift and it is dang cute, here is paisley showing it off:

random acts of cuteness

life has been busy and good lately, here are a few shots of the little miss doing what she does best: being cute!

paisley has figured out how to pull down on the frog to make it play they song, she doesn't to it very often(probably not wanting to show off ya know)but when she does we are so very happy for her.

we finally got a stroller and i love it! paisley usually sleeps pretty well in it, i love that it has a bassinet for right now and so does paisley, nice and comfortable:)

bathing beauty. the girl loves her baths.

two of my favorite fall outfits for her. i seriously enjoy getting her dressed, she always looks cute in everything!

paisley has been talking to us more and more now, i love it. i haven't got a super great video of it yet, but here is a little look at her cuteness.

sorry both the videos are sideways, not sure why they did that. and just ignore my voice on the videos-i sound so annoying.

paisley's portraits

all of the really cute baby pictures online show them sleeping in various places. i really wanted some pictures like that, but that is just not paisley's style. she has never been a typical newborn that just sleeps and sleeps. she wants everyone to see her beautiful blue eyes-so after several photo sessions, with jan and i sweating, we got some pretty cute little pictures. thanks to jan for her patience and photography skills!

don't miss the photo above, it is one of 2 that paisley stayed asleep for about 2.5 seconds.

i love these two tutu pictures, look at my happy girl!

she is so precious, we love her and the chubby cheeks certainly don't hurt her cause.

she wasn't always stoked to be taking pictures.

2 questions

paisley is crying. i am not sure how much longer i can last-she is feed, dry, and dead tired, she hasn't slept since something like 6pm and it is now midnight. she hasn't cried this whole time, actually she was quite happy for awhile, but i just know that she is exhausted and she won't stay asleep. my first question is about baby wise, i have started to read it, i haven't finished yet and it seems like a good idea but i don't see how i can stay on a routine. also, i have read/heard some negative things about letting your baby cry and the baby wise technique.(being physcologically damaging etc...) what has worked for you?? i want paisley to be happy and do what is best for her in the long run-i already do the eat, be awake and then sleep pattern pretty much with her. what is hard is if we ever leave the house, i try and do it right after she feeds, but then she never falls asleep and it just seems like i am screwing up her schedule. but we have to be able to leave the house.

second question, she is almost 7 weeks old which means immunizations are coming up. i think that i want to space them out or something because i do feel like they get too many at once. i am not sure which ones to do first/or at all. i am sure most moms feel this way, i just want to do whatever is best for my baby-i want her to feel loved and be healthy and happy. any advice/experiences would be appreciated!

a bit of festiveness

as you can see paisley was the cutest little pea pod for halloween this year. i am just glad that i actually got a costume for her-nothing like shopping at the last minute. after three different stores, we found a baby costume-on the plus side it was only 5 dollars because i bought it so late! paisley really liked being dressed up, and here she is checking out my tiny effort at festiveness of orange eye shadow. also, chris and i made carmel/chocolate apples for friends and family. it was messy but very fun-it felt nice to make something and package it cute-i totally enjoy thing like that. thanks steph for the how to!

other random paisley stuff, she is starting to smile at us-it is so great! one night she was dishing out these super big, super cute ones. we didn't catch it at its biggest, but you can kinda see it.(yes we are watching jeopardy in the background.) her face is changing already, she is getting so big-i am so glad that she has super chubby cheeks and blue eyes-we love her cute little face!

paisley likes to sit with chris and do some reading, although it is clear that she is not interested the latest brandon sanderson novel. here pasiley demonstrates her awesome talent of riding in her car seat not screaming, awake, with her pacifier. side note-paisley slept for the entire 3 hours of church in her car seat on sunday-it was nothing short of a miracle!
