For family night one Monday, we made a worm farm. And when I say we, I mean mostly Chris, a little Paisley and me taking pictures. Paisley loves worms and Chris wants them for our garden, so it is a win-win for them. Paisley thought it was pretty funny when the drill bit would finally go through the plastic when they were drilling holes. Every time it happened she let out a whole hearted laugh and a big smile. She is so awesome. We are getting more country by the day...:)

Nickel Auction
Have you ever been to or heard of a nickel auction?? They are pretty awesome, people bring their stuff and sell it, each item starting at a nickel and usually going up in nickel increments when bidding on an item. I had a bunch of stuff saved to sell, everything from home decor, to clothes, to baby items and I made $75!! That is so awesome, and guess how much I spend on the items I purchased in the pictures? No, lower. Yeah, I only spend $6.75! I got a pack-n-play with bassinet(practically unused), baby sling, baby wrap, maternity skirt, hooded towel, brand new baby head support, brand new baby shoes, a music toy, a belly/back toy, and brand new men's reef sandals. Just to give you an idea of how inexpensive things are, $5 from my spending was for the pack-n-play. Boo-yah! It was a goodnight for me!
Cousin time
Paisley loves it when Ava and family come down for a visit, we see them at least once a month or so. It is so nice to have a girl that is pretty close in age to Paisley for her to play with, at church there are only boys and then girls that are a year or so older. These two have all types of fun and even let Carson in on the action from time to time. We are so grateful to have some family close and love the fun times we have together.
Bretters!
My good friend Brett, who I met a decade ago (yikes! has it been that long??)when I first started working for EFY was in town on vacation and met up with Andrea and I for lunch. It was so great to catch up with him and have a few laughs, I love these two!
Tomboy princess
Ok, so these first two pictures are totally random, just another example of Paisley being silly with her Daddy. Below you will see her in one of her many princess dress-ups and rubber boots out in the yard just checking on things. She loves to help Chris with the garden, the chickens, the compost pile, all of it. (Which is great since I am not really a dirt type of gal:) I love that she loves worms and dirt just as much as princesses, she is the perfect mix of us!
Head stands
Whenever Paisley does a somersault, she pauses so much at the top, that I started to encourage her to work on a headstand. It is pretty tricky without any help for her, so we moved to the wall and she practiced headstands up against our wall. She has gotten quite good! She is such a character, Chris and I are loving this age and all the funny things that this little miss says. She is still almost constantly singing and is a real lover, she gives random hugs (or hugges) as she calls them through out the day. She also tells me and Chris that she loves us randomly during each day and just brings so much light and joy into our home and our lives. I am so thankful that Heavenly Father send her to us first, she is needed and loved so much!
Boho hair
I tried to create a hairstyle that I pinned the other week. It turned out pretty good, but I need to work on hiding the end of the braid and the bobby pins. It felt nice doing something different though, I think I will try it again sometime. Oh, and don't mind the in the car driving to church pictures!
Showering Annie
My friend Annie welcomed her 6th child in March, and myself and the rest of the Young Women's presidency threw a baby essentials shower for her. It was a pink and green with little birdies theme and a fun time to celebrate with her. The young women made the pom poms and helped decorate(Annie is the Beehive advisor), we are so excited to meet her new little princess!
Wedding Pictures
In no particular order, here are some pictures from the wedding, the luncheon, and the reception for Chris's cousin Keith. It was a long day, but a fun day!

Paisley lately
Paisley is getting into playing with and being with her friends. We are part of a play school that meets once a week, that has 4 kiddos in it and she really looks forward to that.
She also loves to help me. Literally help me with anything and everything, she is at my side all day long. She is great at helping wipe down things, vacuuming with the hose, and unloading the dishwasher. My friend watched her for me one day and told me that it was so obvious that she was an oldest child, because instead of playing with one of her 7 kids, she stuck pretty close to my friend.
Almost daily Paisley will go and check on her chickens and pick them up one by one. When asked who is the boss of her, she quickly responds with mommy and daddy. When asked what she is the boss of, she responds with her baby dolls, and the chickens.

On any given sunny day if we are coming home, Paisley will stand with her head out of the sunroof. She says hello to anything and everything that we pass and will occasionally hold up her baby doll and say "hello, my name is baby" and have baby talk to anything and everything.
She loves to make "beds" from random cushions and blankets from through out the house. She is also really exploring her fashion sense. I quite enjoy some of the things she puts together.
She is a little light in my life and the older she gets the more we enjoy her.

This photo is my favorite!
