king kone and an enchanted forest

on the way home from the reunion we had to stop at a family tradition, king kone. they have fabulous soft serve and prices that can't be beat. paisley was so tired from all the cabin fun, she mostly looked like this:

they boys are super happy with their cones.

the next day we went to a local theme park called enchanted forest, i use to love to go their as a child and it was fun to share it with paisley. some of the taylor and frazier fams met up with us and it was a blast. this is paisley in the castle, right at the start of the park.

i was pretty impressed with all well kept the park looked. paisley liked all the different nursery rhymes. there are lots of slides, and tunnels which the kids love.

and the dads endure.

so many fun little bridges and homes to explore.

i love these kids:)

more fun and jill and i.

i think the kids went through the crazy house like 8 times. loved it.

we stayed at the boot slide the longest, it is so great. we all wend down, and down, and down some more.

paisley went by herself and she did great, only the mat blew up and you can't see her coming down!

they have a special kiddie land with rides just for toddlers, the bumper boats were a big hit.

this other ride was like a mini ferris wheel. she didn't like that one.

lastly, we checked out a show that they perform every afternoon about hansel and gretel. it was mildly funny, but the kids rather enjoyed it. paisley sat like this the whole time:

chris got in on the act at the end.

harward family reunion

i love oregon. isn't it just so lovely?? we had a blast at the family reunion. we played horseshoes, played games, read, visited, played in and by the river and just generally enjoyed ourselves. here is a random sampling of pics from the awesome event.
paisley with katarina and graham, they are all just a few weeks apart.

beautiful.

paisley and jake down by the river. once we got back to san diego she kept calling kacy, jake, two black dogs is confusing for her!

more river fun.

paisley loves the cabin, touching daddy's fish and running up the trail to the cabin.

chris went scuba diving in the river with my cousins cory and lance.

paisley enjoying an apple.

the one hard thing was how cold it got at night time. luckily i have some stellar cousins and they lent paisley a little beanie that helped keep her warm. we got less sleep then usual in the night, but paisley was a champ with her naps. the nice warm tent in the day was perfect.

everywhere you look you see this: little kids so enjoying playing and being with each other. it was great.

every reunion we have an auction, people donate things and then they are auctioned off. the uncles are the auctioneers, they are so funny. i had seriously forgotten how funny my uncle jim is. it was one of my favorite parts of the whole trip.

round the campfire every night. yum.

cute kyle and jackie with her awesome big mouth:)

some of my girl cousins, i love these girls!

we celebrated 4th of july while we were there, so of course paisley had to sport her dress from last year.

it was perfectly sunny and dare i say hot that day, so we spent the afternoon by the river on our "beach."

paisley was fearless when it came to holding the crawdad. she totally showed up the older boys and she grabbed it just right. love this girl.

chris took paisley for a paddle down the river.

then he quickly earned some brownie points with the other kiddos by taking out 2 or 3 more rounds of kids.

more playing.

getting ready for bed. and just because you are camping doesn't mean you can't have a little bling and painted nails.

i love holly. i hadn't seen her in years because she lives in nyc, it was great to catch up. she is so funny.

when packing up the tent and stuff, the portable dvd player is the perfect distraction!

isn't ethan a hoot?? i miss this boy and tristan and rylie too. they are so cute!

i can't remember what miss rylie was sad about, but i am oh so happy that she let me hold her. i wish i got to see these kids more. i love them and miss them!
a few more cute pics of the tucker kiddos:)

it was so great to have tracy and graham in from georgia, loved seeing them.

more campfire and family meeting time.

all of us.

cara and timmy, so cute!

probably my favorite 30 mintes of the whole weekend, playing spoons with my cousins.
