i bet everyone wishes that their mother-in-law was a pro photographer like mine-i love jan! she did an awesome job and these are just from the hospital room window!

later in the afternoon, the epidural started to wear off, actually it happened a few times and every time the dr gave me another dose, i threw up about half and hour later. i guess that makes up for not having morning sickness at all. i was progressing, so that was good, and by dinner time i was fully effaced and dilated to an 8. after just a little while longer, i was dilated to a 10 and ready to push. pushing was hard, and i will not go into the gory details, but it was tough. i pushed for 3 hours and she just wasn't coming down quick enough. after lots of tears, we decided a c-section was needed. paisley was finally born at 11pm on the dot. she was perfect and healthy and we are so thankful for that. i was shaking for along time after and of course threw up again, so miserable! finally about midnight, i was back in the room and able to see her really good, she is perfect! recovery is going ok, considering i have the recovery of both a c-section and a vaginal delivery at the same time. awesome. here are some pictures of our princess.
just getting going, with my mom in the background
i did this awhile ago, but never posted pictures, i painted the canvas and glittered the p. for those of you who don't know, the p stands for.....Paisley! so this is paisley's wall, i've got her half of the room set up pretty cute, i'll try to get other pictures up sometime.
so i have been looking for a glider for pretty much the whole summer. i really want one for nursing and have been looking on craigslist to try and find one that we could afford. several times there have been good ones and then once i got ahold of the seller they were already gone. this glider was posted earlier this week for a great deal so i jumped on it, luckily linda(the lady selling it) said we could come look/get it last night.
today chris turns 25, i could talk forever about him, but here is just a small tribute to the man that i love. chris is so amazing, he is the husband that i never dreamed i could have and i know he is going to be the best father to our little princess. he works so hard for our family, so that i can be afforded the luxury of staying home with our baby, i am so thankful and grateful for him everyday. he can always put a smile on my face(he has dance skills that the rest of world never gets to see-its sad for all of you) and is the smartest, most wonderful man i have ever met. sometimes i think, oh my gosh, i did it, i really married chris, he gives me a life that is so much more then i ever imagined. i love him. forever.
this weekend jan took some prego portraits for me on the beach, it was fun and i am glad that we could get them taken before the little princess arrives, less then 2 weeks left! here are some of my favorite shots. **warning** bare belly in some of the pictures, if ya don't want to see it, don't scroll down!
