we got our first well deserved family trip of 2010 at the beginning of july. we flew to oregon for the 2nd harward reunion and to spend about an extra week with my dad. chris and i enjoyed taking the scooter out for spin to get some groceries. he drove on the way home, he is much more confidant them i am!
on the way to the reunion we stopped by the cemetery, it was the first time that i got to see the headstone. it is perfect. i loved the trees and oregon scenery.

we cleaned it, trimmed the edges and left some flowers.
it was pretty strange heading to the reunion with out my mom.
i am happy that we could stop and see it and have a moment to think of her.
