for memorial day this year we wanted to keep it simple, so we{invited ourselves over} to bbq and and play at the monroe pool. the monroe's backyard is strait out of a dream, so pretty and so much fun, we LOVE swimming and playing over there. the slide is always the best, my favorite slide moment was tommy riding the dolphin down it, so funny! {see upper left picture for awesome face expression}
even paisley and ava tried the slide, both willingly, both ready to be out of the pool the second they were done. notice that chris even kept paisley's head out the water-pretty impressive! {he can thank water polo for that!}ava wasn't quite so lucky, but enjoyed it none the less.
the boys of course engaged in king of the mountain, catching balls while jumping in the water and trying to ride anything and everything down the slide.
we had home made ice cream that was divine! of course miss paisley loved it, as well as the hot tub, she likes small spaces of water that are warm, can you blame her??
after we had our fill of water, we busted over to the airport to welcome greg{monroe} home. it was great to be there, we are happy to have another awesome monroe to play with!

so cute!!! i love your welcome home shirts, what an adorable idea! and this is hilarious, but i actually bought that swim cover up at lagoon that day- because my sister and i were so hot in what we were wearing that we couldn't even stand it! we wanted to just change into our swimsuits and stay in them for the rest of the day!! how funny is that?!!! so it was my $15 lagoon gift shop score! so unfortunately i don't think you can buy it in ca, but give me your address and i can send it to you and you can have it! so you can take it on your boathouse trip!
