sock hop

for our camp fundraiser this year we decided to do a sock hop diner. i had a major part in planning and putting on the event and it was a lot of work, but such a fun night and a total success. it was the second night that my dad was in town and i was so glad to have him there to watch miss pais since i was running around all night and chris was a slave to the grill-grilling 200 hamburgers and cheeseburgers in about an hour and a half! {warning: there are a lot of pictures!}

i made my poodle skirt and am pretty happy at how it turned out. and of course the mac counter is responsible for my awesome make up. love it!

my front door gals and the float shop where we sold root beer, orange creme and shirley temple floats. a total hit!

my cute beehive natalie being a waitress and our dj keeping the party going!

our silent dessert auction table and what the table decor looked like:

floats and dancing, so glad the jensen's came to support me!

behind the scenes kitchen:

more dancing with cousin carson and aunt steph:)

two of our entertainment acts, the three girls sang mr. sandman and the boys sang earth angel.

me and rae anne, she is so awesome and totally did a lot to help this event go smoothly. more dancing, everyone loved the dancing. i wish we had a bigger gym so we had even more room for a dance floor.

all the young women performed "we go together" from grease.

we also had a photo opt with a harley davidson, this is the young women presidency.

snuck in a slow dance with my honey and he copped a feel right as jan took the picture!

the end of a long night, i totally spaced i had lipstick on a planted a big one on my favorite girl. what a fun night! {but kinda glad it is over;)}
