robin's birthday was in may, actually the day right after my dad's birthday and he requested a german chocolate cake. i have never made a german chocolate cake before, but i did a little web research and found a recipe i thought i could try. i'm not going to lie, it was kinda intense, it involved the saucepan and a whole lotta stirring, but luckily it was all worth it. robin liked it, it didn't turn out as cute as i would have liked, but it did taste good!
