easter baking

for our large Easter dinner at the jensen's this year, i brought 2 dozen deviled eggs, 2 pies, and 24 cupcakes. the cupcakes were the BEST chocolate baked good i have ever created, possibly ever eated. so divine. you make a special brownie type mixture the night before and freeze it in balls and then place those frozen balls in the center of the cupcakes before baking. they turned out fudgy, chocolaty, gooey goodness-SO GOOD! the kitchen was a disaster on Easter afternoon as i was baking up a storm:

marionberry pie and apple crisp, each fantastic. i love me some pie!

the frosting is milk chocolate, i am not lying when i say these are the best baked chocolate thing i have ever had. chris and i planned on leaving all extra desserts at the jensen house, but after trying one of these suckers, we each took 2 home. if you need a chocolate dessert, make these!{and then send me the extras:)}
