the ramona fair

one friday night in july we went to the ramona fair with steph, dj and carson to see what it was all about. of course the carousel was a big hit from the start. after we tired of that, i saw a cute little roller coaster and asked paisley if she wanted to ride it, she said yes and off we went to place her on it. she was a little hesitant once she found that i couldn't ride with her, but she really lost it as soon as the creepy fair guy hit that go button.

the poor girl had to go around twice before the guy shut it down early. she was terrified. at first i was laughing, but then i felt sad for her. but now i am back to laughing i mean look at the bottom left picture...so funny!

after that traumatizing event pais wasn't up for much else, but i convinced{aka forced} her to try the bumble bee ride with me.
here she is not wanting to sit down and me forcing the seat belt over her.

next we are waiting for the ride and she is trying to stand to escape.

by the end she was all smiles: i knew it!

i really wanted to take pais on this, but she was too small...i swear i was like 2 sitting on my dad's lap going down this thing, all the new rules are so dumb! [ps-chris totally cheated}

we talked her into the fair version of tea cups.

and then back to the carousel we went:

steph and i even tried out the kamikaze together. we sat in the very front. it felt like it would never end and the thought crossed my mind "why i am doing this?? paisley needs a mom, i could seriously die." at least that is what it felt like for the 3 minutes we were up there. we were laughing and crying the entire time. i love us.
