in july stephanie, zach and i headed downtown to see shrek: the musical. for mother's day jan gave steph and i season tickets to the civic theatre and this was one of the shows. unfortunately, jan was in spain so zach was the lucky boy who got to fill in. he busted out a plank before the show started.
i was not sure what to expect but it far exceeded it. the show was fantastic! seriously so good, i loved it. it was so fun, there was some new music that i loved and the dancing was great. my favorite was lord farquad, he was so amazing! if this show is ever in your area, go! i really want to take chris the next time it is here. such a fun show and a fun night! {side note: it is a clean show, so refreshing to not have a bunch of vulgarity to make it worthwhile entertainment}
