stephanie and carson get showered

so a few saturdays ago i helped put together a baby shower for my sister-in-law stephanie. she is due with baby number 1, a boy, at the beginning of march. it is so great to have them in san diego, they moved from texas several months ago and we have loved having them close.
kelle made this super cute cake for the shower, she is so creative and talented.

i made a diaper cake for a center piece and a gift and i was super happy with how it turned out, i think it is the best one that i have made-go me!

i also made a banner and tissue paper pom poms for some decorations, they turned out cute i think and added some fun to the ambiance.

i also made some cookies for party favors. they turned out cute, but were tons of work, as i was icing them and midnight, i thought to myself "why do i do this??" because i love it and i will probably do it again, just with less cookies-maybe 20 or under. i put a 'c' on for carson and made a 'thanks' tag in photo shop. it was cute, i will say it.

my basket o' favors.

me doing my hostess duties and explaining some of the games.

cute steph opening one of her many presents-we had a great turnout, and amy, kelle and i watching the opening presents action.

helping organize all the goods and steph and i with one of the onesies that i made her.
{i know, i have been a busy girl!}

i wish i would have made these, aren't they cute!?! love them.

the momma to be and me.

a close up! i am so excited to have a little baby to hold and am so happy to have them close to us, now if only all the rest of my family and friends would move to sd!

Everything turned out so cute Dev! The signs, the onsie cookies, the flower tissue paper balls, the diaper cake and Kelle did SUCH an amazing job on the cake. I loved all the details. And I love your new shirt! Love you!
