welcome to...

my new town.

cute isn't it?? i love the horse, mountain and sun picture, life is slower, quieter, and more open. i am getting so excited to have more space, to create and to find all the 'gems' of ramona that i can.

i might need to adapt my shoes a bit.{no, i am not hanging up my pump-i would NEVER do that, but i think for around town, or at least my street i will have to go more casual} i live down a dirt road.

welcome to my mail box. this picture gets me excited for a simpler life.

welcome to my backyard. i know you just see junk right now, but all i see is p-o-t-e-n-t-i-a-l! i imagine a bike path all around the property going on top of that ridge, a guest/grandpa cottage somewhere, a garden, a greenhouse, orange trees and a big umbrella with loads of cozy seats for conversation and lemonade and grass, lots of green grass.

it might take me a while{much longer then i would want i am sure!} but i know this property is a diamond in the ruff and i plan on buffing it until it shines!
{i wish my mom could see it, i think she would love it}
i am excited for my san diego version of pioneer woman's life. although i didn't hail from quite as big a city as her, and i am not moving to quite as rural a town as her, my lodge won't be quite as lofty, and my photography and blogging not as good, but i think my cooking will be as good{and for sure healthier! although i totally want her cookbook} i am excited for this new phase and hope to make the very best of country life! {nordstrom is only 25 minutes away-so of course i will be fine! joking...but for reals}

And I HEART the mailboxes. Wow. Please tell me yours is the one with the cow spots on it. :)
